COVID-19 Protocol

Revised Protocols Effective 3/3/2022

Throughout the pandemic, our organization has closely followed health and government safety guidelines and recommendations. Therefore, in response to their recent relaxing of masking guidelines, we have decided to do the same with the  Goodwill mask policy. Effective immediately, masks will no longer be required inside any southwestern Pennsylvania and north central West Virginia Goodwill stores and Workforce Development Centers, including the Union Station Clubhouse for staff, program participants, volunteers, and visitors.

All Goodwill/Clubhouse  staff and members working off site must still follow the masking policy of the location in which they are working.

While we have made this change to no longer require masks, any staff, program participants, volunteers or visitors who want to continue wearing masks while in a Goodwill location are encouraged to do so. Additionally, there may be situations when individuals may ask those with whom they are meeting or working with closely to wear a mask. If this occurs, I ask that you extend a personal courtesy and honor the request for their safety. We will provide masks in meeting rooms, conference rooms and other locations in case they are needed.

Although we are making this change, Goodwill  encourageseveryone to get vaccinated and boosted. Additionally, please understand that we will continue to monitor masking guidelines and further changes could occur including the reinstatement of mask wearing if the COVID-19 pandemic situation worsens or the guidelines from the authorities advise it.

To ensure safety and compliance with state and CDC guidelines, the following policies remain in place:

  • Regular sanitation and disinfecting is done in all areas of the facility
